Event: This was following the mortality of a young man with spinal injury following aspiration of food. News of his death had angered the patient's kin who resorted to vandalism, accusing the hospital and doctors involved in his treatment of carelessness. A mob of around 30 to 40 people entered the hospital premises and tried to smash the windows. They also attacked police personnel who were guarding the building.

• After a patient admitted for treatment at National Institute of Neurological and Allied Sciences (Neuro Hospital) Bansbari died during treatment, his relatives beat up the doctor and ransacked the hospital.
