Event: After death of a 27-year-old with 40+ WOG pregnancy following medically induced vaginal delivery complicated by postpartum hemorrhage, the relatives had claimed the negligence of hospital and vandalized the hospital including Pediatric OPD, ECG room, Surgery OPD and Pharmacy. The father of the deceased had denied their involvement in vandalism.

  • After the death of the patient during the treatment, a doctor working at Lumbini Zonal Hospital, Butwal, was attacked by the relatives of the deceased. The angry group had also vandalized the hospital.

  • After the death of the patient during the treatment, the relatives of the deceased attacked the health workers at the Everest Nursing Home in Kathmandu and vandalized the hospital.

  • After the death of the patient during the treatment, relatives attacked the doctor working in the hospital and the hospital in Janakpu Regional Hospital. After the death of a seriously injured patient in the accident during treatment, the medical superintendent working in the hospital and other health-impaired persons were assaulted and the hospital vandalized.

  • Infuriated group broke windows and doors of the hospital and also damaged medical equipment and other materials following death of two patients injured in a mini-truck accident.
