Event: After death of a 41-year-old patient who was admitted with fever with rigors, diarrhea and kidney injury, the family members and relatives had staged a demonstration in the hospital premises claiming medical negligence and demanding action against the doctors involved. According to the deceased's husband, the health workers hadn't shown interest in her treatment. According to the hospital, the patient had died due to hypotension.

Event: After the death of a 27-year-old pregnant lady and baby during delivery in the hospital due to amniotic fluid embolism, the relatives protested refusing to receive the deceased's body claiming that the death was due to doctor's negligence.

• The minister of health and population who reached the hospital in a drunk state had misbehaved and abused the doctors and health workers in the hospital.
