Event: The family members staged a protest claiming medical negligence over death of a 24-year-old lady who had delivered a newborn via CS at the hospital. She had also undergone a second surgery in the hospital and referred to Butwal where she died.

Event: A 23-year-old (25 according to another source) pregnant lady had died after she had undergone a caesarean section on the night before. Relatives had blamed the hospital negligence for the death saying that the operation was conducted without adequate preparations. Irate relatives and family had staged demonstration, and the security personnel were deployed to prevent any untoward incidents. They had vandalized the operation theater.
