Event: After the death of a 51-year-old who had sustained a knee injury and was operated in the hospital, the irate relatives had blocked the Koshi highway alleging medical negligence and demanding action against doctors and compensation and guarantee of employment for the children of the deceased. However, the hospital had defended against the claim saying that the death had occured due to myocardial infarction and not the negligence in surgery.
