Event: After death of a 26-year-old man, family of the deceased and locals protested and pelted stones alleging doctors that the death was due to medication overdose. However, the hospital had defended stating that the treatment had failed due to the critical condition of the patient due to liver problem. This was settled after the hospital agreed to pay Rs. 5,00,000 compensation (out of court).
