Emergency Jana Sewa Hospital (Uterine surgery) Incident

Event: After death of a lady who had reached the hospital with the complaint of abdominal pain, the irate relatives have staged a demonstration demanding punishment for the hospital administrator and the operating health worker. Following the "uterine" surgery, patient had developed excessive bleeding and was referred to Metro City Hospital in Birgunj where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Following the incident, both the hospital administrator and the health worker are out of contact.

While the news and media have mentioned that the "doctor" had operated the patient, it has been said that the one that performed the surgery was a CMA.
