Event: After the death of a 34-year-old man during the course of treatment in the hospital, the family and the relatives picketed the hospital blaming the doctors of negligence. They accused that the doctor had operated on head instead of nose and refusal to refer the patient to another hospital in Kathmandu. They had demanded for compensation with a refund of Rs 21 Lakh, fund for the living of the patient’s two children and punishment for the doctor engaged in the surgery.
