Dullu Hospital Incident

 

Hospital: Dullu Hospital, Dailekh, Nepal

Victim: MDGP doctor who was trying to make Dullu Hospital a CEONC site

Type of violence: Verbal abuse, Threatening

Event: The family member of patient pressurized the doctor to make referral slip to receive compensation from municipality for referral while the doctor refused as it was against the prevalent law. The patient was taken to higher center directly from home after 10-12 days of checkup at Dullu hospital OPD.
