Hospital: Universal College of Medical Sciences, Bhairahawa, Nepal

Victims: Doctors and Nurses in ICU

Type of violence: Physical

Event: After mortality of an orthopedic case probably due to pulmonary/fat embolism, aggressive relatives and crowd barged into the ICU, vandalized the hospital and man-handled doctors and health care staffs. They had to hide themselves in hospital rooms to save their lives.
