Event: After death of a 24-year-old man who was being treated at the center and referred to Janakpur following snakebite, the irate locals and relatives had imposed a road-block along the East-West highway at Bandipur section for 2 hours. The relatives had claimed that the patient died due to delay in referral despite the absence of skilled manpower.
