Jaleshwor Hospital (Injection) Incident

Hospital: Province Hospital Jaleshwar, Mahottari, Nepal

Type of violence: Non-violent (padlocking)

Event: After death of a 4-year-old girl admitted in the hospital with fever, the agitated relatives padlocked the hospital claiming that the patient died following an injection of a wrong medicine. The patient was referred to Janakpur hospital and had died immediately in the hospital premises.
