Event: After the death of a 75-year-old woman who was under treatment in ICU at the hospital, the relatives protested in the hospital claiming medical negligence. The patient had been referred to B and C hospital for CT scan and the patient was distressed soon after she was brought back to the ICU in the hospital. The relatives had claimed that the patient was not kept on oxygen for about half an hour when she developed respiratory distress. The hospital had defended saying that the death was due to myocardial infarction.
