Vandalism Incidents 2012

24 March, 2012 (Bir Hospital, Kathmandu)

• The minister of health and population who reached the hospital in a drunk state had misbehaved and abused the doctors and health workers in the hospital.

2 April, 2012 (Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar)

• After death of the patient, relatives attacked the doctors and the staff.

6 July and 10 July, 2012 (BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, Bharatpur)

• Doctors were attacked.

11 July, 2012 (BPKIHS, Dharan)

• A pediatrician in the hospital was attacked and abused.

31 July, 2012 (Terhathum Hospital)

• A doctor working in Tehrathum district hospital was attacked and injured by the patient's relatives. Relatives of the patient attacked doctor for not paying attention to the patient's treatment.

7 September, 2012 (Rapti Academy of Health Sciences, Dang)

• A drunk local had attacked a doctor and injured him.
